I should get the worst grandma of the year award. This beautiful baby was born on my birthday, March 17, and I am just now getting around to blogging about it. I am trying to figure out how to do my pictures differently too and I obviously called Erica too late, so I will just have to live with this. Isn't he the cutest thing ever? I didn't make it for the delivery but I got there just a few hours after he was born. I made the trip alone and it was kind of scary because it was snowing along the way and I had to pull over several times and just say a little prayer and wait a minute for it to let up a little, but I made it....and I am so glad that I did. There is NOTHING cuter or sweeter than a newborn baby. So after much thought and consideration, they decided NOT to go with naming the baby after me (I wanted them to name him Breckan and then I would call him Brecky). I do love that they went with Patrick as his middle name since he was born on St. Patrick's day. He is so, so cute. I have not seen him for awhile except on skype and I can hardly wait to see him this month.
IGeorge is blonde and dark and reminded me of a little surfer baby at one day old. He has hair, you just can't see it very well because it is so blonde. He was a chunky little thing.....nine and a half pounds and 21 inches long.
I got Olive this fake food for her birthday. It is that wooden stuff that is velcroed together and it had a few knives that you could use to cut it apart. Olive and William loved it and it was great entertainment for them. They loved to play restaurant with me where I would order food and they would prepare it and serve it to me. Look at that smile.
Like Shauna said, he is better dressed than any of her kids and better dressed than she and Ben dress. I would have to say he is better dressed than any of us at our household but that isn't saying much. Isn't he just so cute?
Olive loves to mother him and William is a great big brother. They loved sitting on the couch holding him. They are probably watching Dinosaur Train or Little Einsteins in this picture. I loved that Kaylee and Chris have that TEVO thing and had a lot of shows recorded for them. It made it easier on me to figure out what was okay for them to watch. I love that when Olive and William watch TV they sit really close to each other and are just totally content to watch it together.
Worn out mama and daughter. I love this picture at the hospital.
I love that he wears hats a lot.
Here they are again, sitting close and watching TV together. They are sitting on the trunk drinking their milk. I am so glad that they get along so well.
Olive, looking a lot like Popeye....love it.
Mom, Dad and Baby.
I was so grateful that I got to go up there and spend some time with the Smiths. I wish that I could have stayed longer but I had to get back for work. I loved watching their family and how they "worked" together and how they made adjustments for this new little one. I love that they really are a family of "Yours, Mine, and Ours" now and that this precious little boy has bound all of them together as one. Welcome to the world George Patrick Smith.

I can't wait to meet ALL of them. It's weird that she has been married for a year and has a new baby and I haven't even met any of them yet. Besides that I've barely hung out with olive! We've missed out on a lot these last four years.
That was a cute post Mom. Thanks for coming up to help out!
Very nice post Becky!! Sweet sweet pictures!!
